Danish designer Anja Kjaer, "I created Sense with the colors and shapes of the rebellious 60's in mind - a rebellious glass bowl, which breaks with the transparent and airy perception that we normally have of glass." All the pieces in this series have deep black exteriors and a thin white middle layer followed by a briliantly colored interior. They are substantial in feel, the orange and red bowls are particularly heavy. The image doesn't do justice, these bowls are absolutely vivid - our favorites from Holmegaard, the Danish glassworks since 1825. The bowls are now available in mint, in addition to orange and red. The Sense bowls are complemented by the Sense dish, featured separately.
